The Arlington Heights Police Department continues to seek assistance in locating missing person Eugene Jonsson, 84.
New information as of Saturday, Aug. 24 at 4:40 p.m.
Missing Arlington Heights resident Eugene Jonsson, 84, was last seen in Yorkville at 12:45 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23, when he asked for directions to Ogden Avenue and Route 59 in Naperville.
The family still has received no communications from Jonsson.
Arlington Heights police continue to say that foul play is not suspected, but due to Jonsson's possible confused state of mine, assistance is being sought by the public at-large to help locate him.

On Friday, Aug. 23, at 2:50 a.m., a family member reported to the Arlington Heights Police Department that Eugene Jonsson, 84, was missing from his Arlington Heights home.
Jonsson left his residence at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, with the intent to travel to a nearby restaurant. Although Eugene has no known medical conditions, he recently has become lost while driving.
Jonsson's car, a gray, four-door 2004 Buick LeSabre, bearing Illinois license plate JONS507, was last seen in Kendall County at 12:45 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 23.
Family members have not had any contact with Jonsson since his disappearance.
Although the Arlington Heights Police do not suspect foul play, due to Jonsson's apparent confused state of mind and age, the Arlington Heights Police Department is requesting assistance in locating Jonsson and his vehicle.
