Algonquin Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash

The accident happened at the intersection of Algonquin and Oakleaf roads Saturday afternoon.

A 31-year-old Algonquin woman was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash over the weekend.

Han Gong Stockton, 31, Algonquin,  was taken to an area hospital after her car was struck by a car driven by a 17-year-old Lake in the Hills boy at 12:10 p.m. Saturday.

The 17-year-old driver, who was stopped on Oakleaf Road, pulled out in front of Stockton's vehicle while turning onto Algonquin Road and struck the passenger side of her car.

The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment of back pain.
