Algonquin Police: Thefts, DUI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Police reports from March 8-18.

Retail Theft

Isael Q. Barreto, 42, of 5525 Alexandria Drive, Lake in the Hills, was charged with retail theft at 734 S. Randall Road, on March 15, police said. He was released on a Notice to Appear, with a court date of April 24 in Algonquin.

A sixteen-year-old male from West Dundee was charged with retail theft on March 15, according to police.  He was taken into custody at 400 S. Randall Road.  He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of April 24 in Algonquin.

Tanner R. Fehring, 18, of 8611 Huntley Road, Crystal Lake, was charged with retail theft on March 17, police said.  He was taken into custody at Kohl’s, 734 S. Randall Road. Fehring was released on a notice to appear and a court date of April 24 in Algonquin.

DUI

Aurelio J. Herrera, 41, of 5820 W. School Street, Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence, driving with license revoked and speeding on March 17, reports stated. He was taken into custody at Randall Road and Binnie Road.  He was released after posting $300, with a court date of April 24 in McHenry County.

Wilbur W. Kemp, 47, of 7507 Cedar Drive, Wonder Lake, was charged with driving under the influence and disobeying traffic control device on March 18, according to reports.  He was taken into custody at Dominick’s, 101 N. Randall Road and later released on $100 bond and his driver’s license. He was given a court date of April 24 in McHenry County.

Marijuana Possession

Nicholas D. Breh, 20, of 510 Redtail Ridge, Unit C, Elgin, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis, driving with a license suspended, defective muffler on March 18, police said. Breh was taken into custody at Randall Road and Broadsmore Drive.  He was released on a personal recognizance bond, with a court date of April 24 in McHenry County.
