Algonquin Police: Teens Arrested for Underage Drinking; Unlawful Possession of Firearm Arrest
Algonquin police responded to the following reports between May 25 and May 29.
Violation of Curfew, Underage Drinking: A 16-year-old Carpentersville boy was taken into custody in the 1400 block of Glacier Parkway at 2:36 a.m. on May 29 for violation of curfew and consumption of alcohol by a minor. The boy was formally petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his parents.
In addition, two 17-year-old Algonquin boys were arrested at Glacier Parkway and Tahoe Parkway at 2:43 a.m. on May 29 and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor. They were both formally petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his parents.
Two 16-year-old West Dundee boys were arrested in the area of Lilac Drive and Honey Locust Lane around 3:13 a.m. on May 29 and charged with violation of a curfew and consumption of alcohol by a minor. They were both released on a notice to appear and are next expected in court on June 26 in Algonquin.
A 16-year-old Algonquin girl was arrested at Lilac Drive and Honey Locust Lane at 3:43 a.m. on May 29 for violation of a curfew, consumption of alcohol by a minor and violation of the graduated driver’s license restrictions. She was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on June 26 in Algonquin.
Also taken into custody was a sixteen-year-old male from Algonquin who was charged with violation of curfew and consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was also released on a Notice to Appear and is next expected in court on June 26 in Algonquin.
Criminal Trespass to Residence: A 16-year-old Algonquin girl was arrested at 4:08 p.m. on May 29 for criminal trespass to a residence. She was taken into custody at the Algonquin Police Department and was referred to the tri-county peer jury and then released into the custody of her mother.
Improper Left Turn: A 43-year-old Algonquin woman was arrested at Arrowhead Drive and Cary Road at 7:17 a.m. on May 28 for no valid driver’s license and improper left turn. Rubicelia Tinajero was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on July 10 in McHenry County.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: A 15-year-old Algonquin girl was arrested at 2:01 p.m. on May 28 at Arrowhead Apartments for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was formally Petitioned into Juvenile Court and then released into the custody of her mother.
Retail Theft: A 21-year-old Huntley woman was arrested at Kohl’s, 734 S. Randall Road, for retail theft at 5:04 p.m. on May 28. Kelsey L.F. Rosenorn, of 10614 Michael St. in Huntley, was released on a Notice to Appear and is next expected in court on May 26 in Algonquin.
Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A 20-year-old Algonquin man was arrested at 115 Eastgate Drive at 1:37 a.m. on May 27 for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was released after posting $150. He is next expected in court on May 26 in McHenry County.
Possession of Firearm Without Valid FOID: A 18-year-old Hampshire man was arrested at 1:37 a.m. on May 27 for possession of a firearm without a valid FOID, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Timothy J. Clark was arrested at 115 Eastgate Drive and was released after posting $150. He is next expected in court on June 26 in McHenry County.
The following individuals were also arrested at 1:37 a.m. on May 27 at 115 Eastgate Drive:
- Jeremy Perez, 19, of 131 Mohawk Trail in Algonquin, was charged with possession of firearm without a valid FOID and three counts of burglary to motor vehicle. He was transported to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.
- Todd N. Carriker, 23, 02/23/90 of 3812 Fillmore Lane, Johnsburg, was charged with Possession of Firearm w/out a Valid FOID, Illegal Possession of Ammunition w/out a Valid FOID and a Violation of the Liquor Control Act. He was taken into custody at 115 Eastgate Drive. He was transported to McHenry County Jail when unable to post bond.
- Allen S. Hamilton, 18, of Pingree Grove, was charged with possession of firearm without valid FOID, possession of marijuana, unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor. He was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court on June 26 in McHenry County.
Battery: A 39-year-old Lake in the Hills man was arrested at 9:35 p.m. on May 25 at 7 S. Main St. for battery and obstructing a peace officer. James M. Foster was released after posting $150, and is next expected in court on June 26 in McHenry County.
