Algonquin Police: Teen Arrested for Possession of Marijuana
Algonquin Police Department reports for July 22 through July 26.

Disorderly Conduct: Algonquin Police arrested David A. Dato, 35, at his home at 760 Spruce Tree Lane in Algonquin at 12:40 a.m. on July 22 for disorderly conduct. Dato was released after posting $150 and is next expected in court in Kane County on Aug. 22.
Speeding: Algonquin Police arrested Ann Gray, 36, at Bunker Hill Drive and Square Barn Road at 9:50 a.m. on July 22 for driving while license suspended and speeding. Gray, of 460 S. Annandale Lane in Lake in the Hills, was released on a personal recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Aug. 28 in McHenry County.
Driving While License Revoked: Algonquin Police arrested Archie J. Summers, 25, at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road, at 7:43 p.m. on July 23 on a warrant out of Boone County for failure to appear on a driving while license revoked charge. Police also took into custody Jonathon Velazquez-Domingues, 21, of Chicago on a felony retail theft and unlawful possession of a fraudulent identification card. Both were taken to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.
No Valid Driver's License: Algonquin Police arrested Luis E. Esparza, 30, at 7:30 a.m. on July 25 at Sandbloom Road and Compton Drive for no valid driver's license. Esparza, of 2302 Cobblestone in Carpentersville, was released with a promise to comply and is next expected in court on Aug. 28 in McHenry County.
Possession of Marijuana: Algonquin Police arrested David R. Novak, 19, at the Algonquin Police Department at 3:53 p.m. on July 25 for possession of marijuana. Novak, of 1511 N. River Road, was taken to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.
Felony Theft: Algonquin Police arrested Brandon R. Smith, 17, at his home at 721 Webster St. in Algonquin at 3:51 p.m. on July 27 on a felony theft charge. Smith was taken to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.
