Algonquin Police: Retail Thefts, DUI, Leaving the Scene of an Accident

Police reports from the weekend of May 3.

Note: The following information was obtained from Algonquin Police Department arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Brian A. DalBello, 20, of 1710 Crofton Drive, Algonquin was arrested and charged with retail theft on May 3, police said. He was taken into custody at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Drive then released after posting $150, reports stated. DalBello was given a court date of June 5 in McHenry County.

A sixteen-year-old female from Huntley and a fifteen-year-old female from Lake in the Hills were both charged with retail theft on May 4, police said. The teens were taken into custody at Kohl’s, 734 S. Randall Road.  They were both referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and then released into the custody of their parents.

Josue I. Balleno, 24, of 11 Hawthorne Lane, Lake in the Hills, was charged with driving under the influence, driving under the influence over .08, speeding, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. He was taken into custody at Main Street and Lundstrom Drive on May 5, reports stated. He was released after posting $250 and his Illinois Driver’s License, with a court date of June 12 in McHenry County.

Erick Unzueta, 32, of 418 Grace Drive, Lake in the Hills, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident on May 5, police said. He was taken into custody at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Drive.  He was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 12 in McHenry County.
