Algonquin Police Make Several DUI Arrests

Algonquin Police reports from June 14 through June 20.

Possession of Marijuana: Algonquin Police arrested Patrick P. Sullivan, 19, at his home at 201 S. River Road at 8:15 a.m. on June 14 for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear. Sullivan was released after posting $700 and is next expected in court on July 9 in McHenry County. 

Retail Theft: Algonquin Police arrested Sandra J. Clausen, 56, at 7:32 p.m. on June 14 for retail theft at Kohl's, 734 S. Randall Road. Clausen, of 4671 Whitehall Lane in Algonquin, was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on July 31 in Algonquin. 

DUI: Algonquin Police arrested Ronald A. Laramie, 21, at 8:24 p.m. on June 14 at Randall Road and County Line Road for DUI and failure to reduce speed. Laramie, of Hampshire, was released after posting $100 and his Illinois Driver's License. He was next expected in a court on July 24 in McHenry County. 

Retail Theft: Algonquin Police arrested Blake T. Buccieri, 23, at 9:43 p.m. on June 14 at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road for retail theft. Buccieri, of 623 Anderson Drive in Lake in the Hills, was also wanted on two warrants out of McHenry County for reckless driving and driving while license suspended. Buccieri was released after posting $150 on the Algonquin charge and is next expected in court on July 24 in McHenry County. He posted $1000 on the McHenry County warrants and is next expected in court on July 25 in McHenry County. 

DUI: Algonquin Police arrested Matthew J. Furlong, 31, at 12:25 a.m. on June 15 at Route 62 and Ryan Parkway for DUI, DUI Over and no proof of insurance. Furlong was released after posting $100 and his Illinois Driver's License. He is next expected in court on July 24 in McHenry County. 

DUI: Algonquin Police arrested Misael D. Bohorquez, 22, at 3:50 a.m. on June 15 at Route 31 and Klasen Road for DUI, DUI Over, no headlights and improper lane usage. Bohorquez was transported to McHenry COunty Jail when unable to post bond. 

DUI: Algonquin Police arrested Laureen M. Brotan, 47, at 11:18 p.m. on June 16 at Route 62 and Eastgate Drive for DUI and improper lane use. Brotan, of 1505 Gander Court in Crystal Lake, was released after posting $100 and her Illinois Driver's License. She is next expected in court on July 24 in McHenry County. 

Retail Theft: Algonquin police arrested a 16-year-old Carpentersville girl and a 17-year-old Algonquin girl at Webster Street and James Court at 2:07 a.m. on June 17. The Carpentersville girl was arrested for retail theft and violation of curfew and formally petitioned into juvenile court. She was then released into the custody of her parents. The Algonquin girl was charged with no valid driver's license, violation of curfew, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and was formally petitioned into juvenile court. She was then released into the custody of her parents. 

Possession of Marijuana: Algonquin Police arrested a 16-year-old East Dundee boy at 3:20 a.m. on June 17 at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Drive, for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and violation of curfew. The boy was formally petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his father. 

Retail Theft: Algonquin Police arrested Magdalena Fleck, 20, and Alicija Kamieniecka, 57, at 9:14 p.m. on June 19 at 1410 S. Randall Road for retail theft. Fleck, of 1334 Cunat Court in Lake in the Hills, and Kamieniecka, of Mount Prospect, was released with notices to appear. Both are expected in court on July 31 in Algonquin. 

Retail Theft: Algonquin Police arrested Lindsay M. Mochan, 35, at 400 S. Randall Road at 7:21 p.m. on June 20 for retail theft. Mochan, of 311 Starwood Pass in Lake in the Hills, was released on a notice to appear and is next expected in court on July 31 in Algonquin.
