Algonquin Police Blotter: Unlawful Use of a Credit Card and Theft Under $300

February 25, 2011

• Tyler J. Page, 25, of the 22200 block of Little Pond Road, Kildeer, was charged with criminal damage to property.  He was arrested at 210 E. Algonquin Road.  He was released on a personal recognizance bond, with a court date of March 30, in McHenry County.

• Laura E. Levy, 18, of the 600 block of Anderson Drive, Lake in the Hills, was wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for unlawful use of a credit card and theft Under $300.  She was also wanted on a warrant out of Kane County for unlawful use of a credit card.  She was arrested at the Algonquin police department.  She was released after posting $500, on the McHenry County warrant, with a court date of March 8, in McHenry County and after posting $500, on the Kane County warrant, with a court date of March 25, in Kane County.

• Josipa Kavelj, 18, of the 800 block of Menominee Drive, Lake in the Hills, was wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for unlawful use of a credit card and theft under $300.  She was also wanted on a warrant, out of Kane County for receiving goods in violation of the credit card/debit card act.  She was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department.  She was released after posting $500, on the McHenry County warrant, with a court date of March 8, in McHenry County and after posting $500, on the Kane County warrant, with a court date of March 25, in Kane County.

• Matthew R. Frenden, 23, of the 2600 block of Loren Court, Algonquin, was charged with criminal damage to property and two counts of domestic battery.  He was arrested at Harnish Drive and Stonegate Road.  He was transported to McHenry County Jail, to await a bond hearing.

• Stacy A. Zielinski, 28, of the 200 block of Sonora Drive, Elgin, was charged with DUI, improper lane usage, and illegal transportation of alcohol.  She was arrested at Harnish Drive and Sherman Road.  She was released after posting $100 and her Illinois driver’s license, with a court date of April 6, in McHenry County.

February 27, 2011

• Gina J. Munao, 39, of the 1900 block of Jester Lane, Algonquin, was wanted on a warrant out of Lee County for contempt. She was released after posting $300, with a court date of March 24, in Lee County.

• John K. Helman, 26, of the 600 block of South Hubbard Street, Algonquin, was wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear on a possession of cannabis charge. He was released after posting $500, with a court date of March 4, in McHenry County.

• A 17-year-old male from Algonquin was charged with retail theft.  He was arrested in the 2400 block of Huntington Drive. He was formally petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his guardian.

• Chad R. Pearson, 22, of the 1200 block of Old Mill Lane, Algonquin, was charged with battery. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of April 6, in McHenry County.

• Carol A. Buse, 32 of the 700 block of Regal Lane, Algonquin, was charged with obstructing a peace officer. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of March 30, in McHenry County.
