Algonquin Police Blotter: Underage Drinking; Wanted on a Warrant

Aug. 12, 2011

  • Joseph A. Pinsel, 19, of the 1400 block of Richmond, Algonquin, was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department on a McHenry County warrant for failure to appear on an unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor charge. He was released after posting $500, with a court date of Aug. 31, in McHenry County.

Aug. 13, 2011

  • Bryant McCarroll, 41, of the 3900 block of West Van Buren Street, Chicago, arrested at Randall and County Line roads on charges of driving with a suspended driver’s license and obscured plastic plate covers. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of Sept. 14, in McHenry County.
  • Travis J. Landin, 19, of the 1100 block of Stratford Lane, Algonquin, was arrested at his home on charges of consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Sept. 28, in Algonquin.
  • Christopher P. Young, 29, of the 300 block of South Belmont Street, Elgin, was arrested at Randall Road and Harnish Drive on a Winnebago County warrant for failure to appear for disorderly conduct. He was taken to the McHenry County Jail to await pick up by Winnebago County.

  • Agapita C. Reyes, 19, and Veronica C. Reyes, 19, of the 2900 block of West 38th Place, Chicago, were arrested at Kohl’s, 734 S. Randall Road, on charges of retail theft. They were transported to the McHenry County Jail for morning bond court.
  • A 15-year-old Algonquin boy was arrested on a Kane County warrant for aggravated battery. He was transported to the Kane County Juvenile Detention Center.
