Algonquin Police Blotter: Underage Drinking; Possession of Marijuana

July 25, 2011

• Sean M. Eckart, 29, of the 2300 block of Dawson Lane, Algonquin, was charged with speeding 30+ mph.  He was arrested at Randall Road and Broadsmore Drive.  He was released on a personal recognizance bond, with a court date of August 31, in McHenry County.

July 26, 2011

• Alex J. Borchart, 20, of the 300 block of East Jackson Street, Woodstock, was wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear on a possession of marijuana & DUI charge.  He was arrested at 100 Meyer Drive.  He was transported to McHenry County Jail, when unable to post bond.

• A 17-year-old boy from Algonquin was charged with possession of marijuana.  He was arrested at 100 Meyer Drive.  He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of August 31, in Algonquin.

July 29, 2011

• Trevor J. Ruck, 20, of the 100 block of Jefferson Street, Algonquin, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.  Also charged was Dominic M. Borrelli, 18, of the 35W500 block of Ridge Road, West Dundee, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.  Both were arrested at Washington and Main street.  Both were released after posting $150, with a court date of August 31, in McHenry County.
