Algonquin Police Blotter: Sept. 12-15

The following arrest information was supplied by the Algonquin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 12, 2011

  • A 16-year-old boy from Carpentersville was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a notice to appear and was released into the custody of his mother. He has a court date of Oct. 26, in Algonquin.

Sept. 13, 2011

  • Robert E. Hardin II, 58, of the 200 block of East Algonquin Road, Algonquin, was arrested at his home on a charge of battery. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of Oct. 19, in McHenry County.
  • Jessica L. Morici, 25, of the 200 block of Circle Drive, Fox River Grove, was arrested at Ryan Parkway and Route 62 on charges of driving while license suspended and no front plate. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of Oct. 26, in McHenry County.
  • Julia K. Bosman, 38, of the 10300 block of Ashley Street, Huntley, was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department on charges of leaving the scene of a property damage accident, improper backing and failure to report accident to police. She was released after posting $150 and her driver’s license, with a court date of Oct. 26, in McHenry County.

  • Steven J. Gelsosomo, 49, of the 1500 block of Arquilla Drive, Algonquin, was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department on a charge of domestic battery. He was transported to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.
  • Joe R. Schultz, 20, of the 200 block of Hillcrest, Algonquin, was arrested in the 800 block of West Vista Drive on a charge of criminal trespass to residence. He was transported to McHenry County Jail when unable to post bond.
  • A 15-year-old Algonquin boy was arrested in the 1400 block of East Algonquin Road on juvenile warrants out of Kane County for aggravated battery and retail theft. He was transported to the Kane County Juvenile Detention Center when unable to post bond.

Sept. 15, 2011

  • Donnie Nicole Hermansen, 18, of the 100 block of Charleston Lane, Gilberts, was arrested at Randall Road and Harnish Drive on charges of driving while license suspended and no proof of insurance. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of Oct. 19, in McHenry County.
  • Amy M. Manges, 33, of the 8000 block of Bellevue Avenue, Spring Grove, was arrested at Randall Road and Route 72 on a charge of retail theft. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of Oct. 26, in McHenry County.
