Algonquin Police Blotter: Sept. 2-5

The following arrest information was supplied by the Algonquin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Sep. 2, 2011

  • Sean A. Mara, 18, of the 1300 block of Surrey Court, Algonquin, was arrested in the 2800 block of Talaga Drive on a charge of unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Oct. 26, in Algonquin. Also arrested during the same incident was a 15-year-old Algonquin boy, a 15-year-old Lake in the Hills boy and a 16-year-old Algonquin boy. Each was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. All were released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Oct. 26, in Algonquin.

Sep. 3, 2011

  • Traci A. Kiley, 22, of the 700 block of Dunham Lane, Bolingbrook, was arrested at Algonquin Road and Meyer Drive on charges of expired driver’s license, expired registration, no proof of insurance and no registration light. She was released on a personal recognizance bond, with a court date of Oct. 5, in McHenry County.

  • Nicole H. Minchuk, 29, of the 2100 block of Fairland Drive, Sycamore, was arrested at Compton Drive and Meghan Avenue on charges of driving while license suspended and suspended registration. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of Oct. 12, in McHenry County.
  • Vincent J. Cortino, 44, of the 300 block of Tenby Way, Algonquin, was arrested at his home on a charge of battery. He was transported to McHenry County Jail when unable to post bond.
