Algonquin Police Blotter: Retail Theft; Reckless Driving

The police department's reports for April 8-10.

April 8, 2011

  • Two 16-year-old females from Algonquin were charged with retail theft.  They were arrested at 400 S. Randall Road.  Both females were released with a court date of May 23 in Algonquin then released to their parents.
  • Kyle A. Mitchell, 23, of the 500 East Washington Street, Delavan, Wisconsin, was wanted on a warrant out of Cook County for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge.  He was arrested at 501 E. Algonquin Road.  He was released after posting $300 with a court date of April 29, in Rolling Meadows.

April 9, 2011

  • Cheryl A. Beseke, 49, of the 6200 block of West Roscoe Street, Chicago, was charged with hit and run, no insurance, failure to give information/render aid, improper turn and reckless driving.  She was arrested at 2390 E. Algonquin Road.  She was released after posting her Illinois driver’s license with a court date of May 18, in McHenry County.

  • David B. Blumenthal, 23, of the 1100 block of Burr Street, Lake In The Hills, was wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for a retail theft charge.  He was arrested at 2200 Harnish Drive.  He was released after posting $150 with a court date of April 27, in McHenry County.
