Algonquin Police Blotter: Retail Theft

March 14, 2011

  • A 17-year-old male from Algonquin was arrested on a Department of Corrections juvenile warrant at Bunker Hill Drive and Sherman Drive.  The warrant was later rescinded by the Department of Corrections and he was released into the custody of his grandparents.
  • Stacy M. Mitchell, 38, of the 10400 block of Wilmette Avenue, Algonquin, was wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for violation of an order of protection.  She was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department.  She was released after posting $300, with a court date of March 31, in McHenry County.
  • Ana G. Felix, 37, of the 3400 block of Sonoma Circle, Lake in the Hills, was charged with driving while license suspended.  She was arrested at Algonquin Road and Main Street.  She was released on a personal recognizance bond, with a court date of April 20, in McHenry County.

March 15, 2011

  • Renee L. Preston, 25, of the 9500 block of Route 31, Algonquin, was charged with retail theft.  She was arrested at Kohl’s, 734 S. Randall Road.  She was released on a notice to appear with a court date of April 27, in Algonquin.

  • A 17-year-old male from Carpentersville was charged with theft under $300.  He was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department.  He was referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and then released into the custody of his parents.
