Algonquin Police Blotter: Residential Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property

Aug. 5, 2011

  • Dante D. Howse, 18, of the 1100 block of Fulton Avenue, Streamwood, and a 16-year-old Elgin boy were arrested near Washtenaw Lane and Sandbloom Road on charges of residential burglary and criminal damage to property. Howse was transported to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing and the 16-year-old male was transported to the Kane County Juvenile Detention Center to await a bond hearing in McHenry County.
  • Suzanne D. O’Shea, 30, of the 4900 block of Glenbrook Trail, McHenry, was arrested Randall and Acorn roads on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, no proof of insurance and expired registration. She was released after posting $150 and her driver’s license, with a court date of Sept. 14, in McHenry County.

Aug. 6, 2011

  • A 17-year-old Algonquin boy was arrested in the 500 block of Sussex Lane on charges of obstructing a peace officer and possession of a homemade explosive device. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Sept. 28, in Algonquin.

  • Christopher J. Carpenter, 23, of the 600 block of Claymont Court, Algonquin, was arrested at Highland Avenue and Tanglewood Drive on charges of speeding over 40 mph, no proof of insurance and expired registration. He was released after posting $200, with a court date of Sept. 14, in McHenry County.
