Algonquin Police Blotter: Possession of Marijuana; DUI

June 24, 2011

  • Sandro Alfaro, 37, of the 1-99 block of Alameda Drive, Carpentersville, was arrested at Webster Court and Ridge Street on charges of driving while license revoked, speeding and no proof of insurance. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of Aug. 3 in McHenry County.

June 25, 2011

  • Shawn M. Roth, 19, homeless, was arrested at Berg and Armstrong streets on a McHenry County warrant for probation violation for driving while license revoked. He was transported to McHenry County Jail when he unable to post bond.
  • Joshua D. Cochenour, 19, of the 400 block of South River Road, Algonquin, was arrested at Berg and Armstrong streets on charge a charge of possession of marijuana.  He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of July 27 in Algonquin.

  • David A. Butler, 33, of the 1500 block of Matthew Drive, Algonquin, was arrested at his home on a McHenry County warrant for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge.  He was released after posting $575, with a court date of July 11 in McHenry County.
  • Kristine L. Alajoki, 44, of the 1-99 block of Tiverton Court, Algonquin, was arrested at West Algonquin and Frank roads on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and no proof of insurance. She was released on a personal recognizance bond, with a court date of Aug. 3, in McHenry County.
