Algonquin Police Blotter: Oct. 3-6

The following arrest information was supplied by the Algonquin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Oct. 3, 2011

  • Thomas L. Liuzzi, 21, of the 200 block of South Main Street, Algonquin, was charged with possession of marijuana.  He was arrested at his home and was released after posting $150, with a court date of Nov. 9, in McHenry County.
  • A 15-year-old boy from West Dundee was charged with theft under $300.  He was arrested at the Algonquin police department.  He was referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and then released into the custody of his mother.

Oct. 4, 2011

  • A 16-year-old girl from Carpentersville was charged with no valid driver’s license.  She was arrested at Springbrook Court and Brookside Avenue.  She was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Nov. 9, in McHenry County.
  • Sherry L. Storto, 50, of the 300 block of Silverstone Drive, Carpentersville, was charged with retail theft.  She was arrested at Butera Foods, 1400 E. Algonquin Road.  She was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Nov. 30, in Algonquin.

  • Two 17-year-old girls from Crystal Lake were charged with retail theft.  Both were arrested at Kohl’s, 734 S. Randall Road.  Both were released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Nov. 30, in Algonquin.

Oct. 6, 2011

  • Randy S. Roewer, 30, of the 200 block of East Prairie Street, Cary, was wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for retail theft.  He was arrested at Commerce Drive and County Line Road.  He was transported to McHenry County Jail when unable to post bond.
