Algonquin Police Blotter: Nov. 7-10

The following arrest information was supplied by the Algonquin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Nov. 7, 2011

  • A 17-year-old boy from Algonquin was charged with criminal damage to property.  He was arrested in the 2600 block of Williamsburg Drive.  He was formally petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his grandmother.
  • Felipe Baxin-Polito, 46, of the 1500 block of Meghan Avenue, Algonquin, was wanted on an immigration warrant.  He was arrested at Gourmet House, 1740 E. Algonquin Road.  He was transported to McHenry County Jail to await pick up by Immigration Services.

Nov. 9, 2011

  • Marty L. Schriner, 24, and Paige E. Pestka, 20, both of the 300 block of Paulina, Crystal Lake, were charged with retail theft.  Both were arrested at Wal-Mart, 1410 S. Randall Road.  Both were released after posting $150, with a court date of Dec. 14, in McHenry County.
  • Michael Aguirre, 25, of the 700 block of Evergreen Court, Algonquin, was charged with three counts of domestic battery.  He was arrested at his home and was transported to McHenry County Jail, to await a bond hearing.

  • Ronald G. Sylvester, 47, of the 8000 block of West Badura, Las Vegas, Nevada, was wanted on a warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear on a possession of cannabis charge .  He was also wanted on a warrant out of Cook County for dangerous drugs.  He was picked up by DuPage County when unable to post bond.
