Algonquin Police Blotter: Nov. 11-13

The following arrest information was supplied by the Algonquin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Nov. 11, 2011

  • A 15-year-old Algonquin boy was arrested at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Drive, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He formally was petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his mother.

Nov. 12, 2011

  • Jaime Tovar, 44, of the 5500 block of Windgate Way, Lake in the Hills, was arrested in the 3500 block of Bunker Hill Drive on charges of DUI, no proof of insurance and failure to reduce speed. He was released after posting $100 and his driver’s license, with a court date of Dec. 21, in McHenry County.

  • Francisco J. Gumecindo, 25, of the 1-99 block of Berkshire Drive, Crystal Lake, was arrested at Route 62 and Lake/Cook Road on charges of no valid driver’s license, no proof of insurance and no valid registration. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of Dec. 14, in McHenry County.
