Algonquin Police: Teen Charged with Battery at Jacobs

Algonquin police reports from Jan. 30-31, 2013.

 

Algonquin Police released the following reports this week: 

Teen Battery at Jacobs

  • A 14-year-old girl from Lake in the Hills was arrested on a battery charge Jan. 31, police said. She was taken into custody at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Drive. She was referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and then released into the custody of her father.

Domestic Battery/ 911 Call

  • Thomas F. Walker, 44, of 3640 White Deer Drive, Algonquin, was charged with domestic battery and interfering with a 911 call on Jan. 30, police said. He was taken into custody at 3640 White Deer Drive.  He was transported to McHenry County Jail, and posted bond on Thursday.

Wanted on Warrant

  • Brian K. Jagielski, 31, of 958 Berkley Avenue, Carpentersville, was arrested on Jan. 30 on a McHenry County warrant for failure to appear on a battery charge, police said. He was taken into custody at the Algonquin Police Department. He was transported to McHenry County Jail and has not posted bond.

Retail Theft

  • Brandon T. Swan, 31, of 218 Washington Street, Carpentersville, was arrested for retail theft on Jan. 31, according to reports. He was taken into custody at 1410 S. Randall Road. Swan was released with a notice to appear in court.

Suspended License

  • Marquise L. Hampton, 22, of 213 Elmhurst Road, Apt. #312, Crystal Lake, was charged with driving with license suspended and no proof of insurance on Jan. 31, reports said. He was taken into custody at Route 62 and Eastgate Drive.  He was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of March 6 in McHenry County.
