Algonquin Police Blotter: Jan. 6-12

Jan. 6, 2012

• Korbyn R. McCombs, 18, of the 3N400 block of Laura Ingalls Wilder Road, St. Charles, was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department on a charge of driving while license suspended. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of Jan. 24, in McHenry County.

• Nadine A. Spiker, 43, of the 6500 block of Silver Lake Road, Cary, was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department on a charge of hit and run. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of Feb. 1, in McHenry County.

Jan. 7, 2012

• Jozef Szwaja, 38, of the 3600 block of Grayhawk Drive, Algonquin, was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Feb. 29, in Algonquin.

• A 15-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was arrested at Westfield Elementary School, 2100 Sleepy Hollow Road, on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He formally was station adjusted and then released into the custody of his mother.

Jan. 9, 2012

• Essie S. Moore, 57, of the 1900 block of Elm Court, Hanover Park, was arrested at Randall and Stonegate roads on charges of driving while license suspended and expired registration. She was released on a personal recognizance bond, with a court date of Feb. 15, in McHenry County.

• Tonya A. Williams, 22, of the 300 block of Congdon Avenue, Elgin, was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department on a charge of obstructing a peace officer. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of Feb. 9, in Kane County.

• James R. Woelfel, 50, of the 1400 block of Bearflag Drive, Hanover Park, and Casey R. Hagestedt, 21, of the 100 block of Long Avenue, Schaumburg, were arrested at 1600 E. Algonquin Road on charges of felony theft. They were transported to McHenry County Jail, to await a bond hearing.

Jan. 10, 2012

• Sean Jason Perry, 37, of the 1400 block of West 56th Avenue, Merrillville, Ind., was arrested at Route 62 and Ryan Parkway on charges of driving while license suspended and improper display of registration. He also was wanted on an Illinois State Police warrant for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge. He posted $150, on the Algonquin charges, with a court date of Feb. 15, in McHenry County. He was transported to McHenry County Jail to await pickup by the Illinois State Police, when unable to post bond on their warrant.

• Barton J. Christiansen, 62, of the 11500 block of Algonquin Road, Huntley, was arrested at Square Barn Road and Bunker Hill Drive on charges of driving under the influence, DUI exceeding .08, no proof of insurance and improper lane use. He was released after posting $100 and his driver’s license, with a court date of Feb. 15, in McHenry County.

Jan. 11, 2012

• Priteshkumar R. Patel, 34, of the 100 block of South Oakleaf, Algonquin, was arrested at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road, on a charge of retail theft. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Feb. 19, in Algonquin.

• Cara A. McGinnis, 19, of the 1400 block of Blue Heron Drive, Crystal Lake, was arrested at T.J. Maxx, 823 S. Randall Road, on two counts of retail theft. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of Feb. 15, in McHenry County.

• A 15-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was arrested at Kohl’s, 734 S. Randall Road, on a charge of retail theft. He was petitioned formally into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his mother.

Jan. 12, 2012

• Maria Alanis, 35, of 5506 Chancery Drive, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at Algonquin and Square Barn roads on a charge of no valid driver’s license. She was released on a personal recognizance bond, with a court date of Feb. 8, in McHenry County.

• Sonia V. Solis-Hernandez, 38, of the 9900 block of Chetwood Drive, Huntley, was arrested at Randall and County Line roads on charges of no valid driver’s license and obstructed windows. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of Feb. 15, in McHenry County.
