Algonquin Police Blotter: Jan. 31 - Feb. 2

The following arrest information was supplied by the Algonquin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Jan. 31, 2012

  • Daniel S. Brueggeman, 21, of the 500 block of Belmont Parkway, Sleepy Hollow, was charged with DUI and driving on the shoulder.  He was arrested at Randall Road and Longmeadow Parkway.  He was released after posting $100 and his Illinois driver’s license, with a court date of March 14, in McHenry County.
  • Steven R. Peterson, 29, of the 300 block of West Margaret Terrace, Cary, was charged with DUI, DUI over, improper lane usage and no proof of insurance.  He was arrested at Randall and County Line roads.  He was released after posting $100 and his Illinois driver’s license, with a court date of March 28, in McHenry County.

Feb. 1, 2012

  • Krzysztof Mieczkowski, 38, of the 6100 block of West Eddy Street, Chicago, was wanted on a warrant out of Boone County for failure to appear on a traffic offense.  He was arrested at Glacier Parkway and Teton Parkway.  He was released after posting $413, with a court date of Feb. 17 in Boone County.
  • Mohammad S. Qureshi, 18, of the 4900 block of Kimball Lane, Carpentersville, was charged with retail theft.  He was arrested at Wal-Mart, 1410 S. Randall Road.  He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Feb. 29, in McHenry County.
  • Anthony M. DiFiore, 29, of the 1500 block of Seminole Road, Algonquin, was charged with violation of bail bond.  He was arrested at his home and was transported to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.

  • Holly S. Lang, 38, of the 1500 block of Seminole Road, Algonquin, was charged with violation of bail bond.  She was arrested at her home and was released after posting $150, with a court date of March 4, in McHenry County.
