Algonquin Police Blotter: Jan. 21-23

The following arrest information was supplied by the Algonquin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Jan. 21, 2012

  • Nick M. Lorusso, 18, of the 1500 block of Tallgrass Court, Algonquin, was arrested in the area of Bloomsbury Court on a charge of unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Feb. 29, in Algonquin.

Jan. 22, 2012

  • A 14-year-old boy from Algonquin was arrested in the 2200 block of Teton Parkway on charges of criminal damage to property and assault. He formally was petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his parents.
  • Fabian Hurtado, 34, of the 200 block of Wedgewood Circle, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at Route 62 and Harrison Street on charges of DUI, failure to reduce speed and following too closely. He was released after posting $100 and his driver’s license, with a court date of Feb. 22, in McHenry County.

  • Bernabe Becerra, 21, of the 400 block of Hoover Drive, Carpentersville, was arrested at Route 62 and High Point Ridge on charges of driving while license suspended and no proof of insurance. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of Feb. 29, in McHenry County.
