Algonquin Police Blotter: Feb. 27 - March 2

The following arrest information was supplied by the Algonquin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Feb. 27, 2012

  • Oscar Arreola-Ordonez, 32, of the 100 block of Woodland Court, Carpentersville, was charged with no valid driver’s license.  He was arrested at Route 62 and Cook Line Road.  He was released after posting $150, with a court date of March 28, in McHenry County.

Feb. 28, 2012

  • Steven H. Kosyla, 34, of the 700 block of Roger Street, Algonquin, was wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear on a driving while license suspended charge.  He was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department.  He was released after posting $650, with a court date of April 3, in McHenry County.
  • Michele R. Sanden, 47, of the 3600 block of Lakeview Drive, Algonquin, was charged with resisting a peace officer and two counts of domestic battery.  She was arrested at her home and was transported to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.

  • Martin Olvera, 18, of the 400 block of Big Cloud Pass, Lake in the Hills, was charged with retail theft.  He was arrested at Hollister, 1912 S. Randall Road.  He was released after posting $150, with a court date of March 29, in Kane County.

March 2, 2012

  • Jason J. Bauer, 28, of the 900 block of Perry Drive, Algonquin, was charged with reckless driving, leaving scene of property damage accident, failure to notify after striking unattended vehicle, failure to reduce speed, driving on wrong side of roadway, no proof of insurance and improper lane use.  He was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department.  He was released after posting $200, with a court date of March 28, in McHenry County.
