Algonquin Police Blotter: Feb. 20-22

The following arrest information was supplied by the Algonquin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Feb. 20, 2012

  • Nelson C. Viera, 44, of the 800 block of Roaring Brook Lane, Algonquin, was charged with domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence.  He was arrested at his home and was transported to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.
  • Lindsay C. Arcari, 18, of the 10800 block of Wheatlands Way, Huntley, was charged with theft by deception.  She was arrested at Maurice’s, 714 S. Randall Road.  She was released after posting $150, with a court date of March 28, in McHenry County.

Feb. 21, 2012

  • Daniel A. Malicki, 45, of the 1-99 block of West Acorn Lane, Lake in the Hills, was charged with driving while license suspended, no safety certificate and unsafe tires.  He was arrested at Route 62 and Ryan Parkway.  He was released after posting $150, with a court date of March 21, in McHenry County.
  • Kayla A. Desch-Ayers, 18, of the 7000 block of Nathan Lane, Carpentersville, was charged with retail theft.  She was arrested at Wal-Mart, 1410 S. Randall Road.  She was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of March 28, in Algonquin.
  • Glenn E. Cardelli, 51, of the 1700 block of Winaki Trail, Algonquin, was wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for theft.  He was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department.  He was released after posting $150, with a court date of March 7, in McHenry County.

  • Rosaleen Delaney, 27, of the 1300 block of Getzelman Drive, Elgin and a 16-year-old girl from Elgin were both charged with retail theft.  They were arrested at Gordman’s, 1500 S. Randall Road.  They were both released on a notice to appear, with a court date of March 28, in Algonquin.
  • Karina Polanco-Vede, 27, of the 10300 block of Ashley Street, Huntley, was charged with no valid driver’s license, improper lane use and no proof of insurance.  She was arrested at Algonquin and Oakleaf roads.  She was released after posting $150, with a court date of March 28, in McHenry County.
