Dec. 26, 2011

• Dennis Edward V. Mellen, 20, of the 1100 block of West Pattersen Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road, on a charge of retail theft. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Jan. 25, in Algonquin.

• Holly S. Lange, 38, of the 1500 block of Seminole Lane, was arrested at her home on a charge of criminal damage to property. She was released after she posted $150, with a court date of Feb. 1, in McHenry County.

Dec. 27, 2011

• Amy L. Atwood, 43, of the 400 block of Timber Ridge Drive, Waukesha, Wis., was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department on a Kane County warrant for delivery of marijuana. She was released after posting $5,000 bond, with a court date of Jan. 24, in Kane County.

• Gloria D. Farber, 36, of the 1300 block of Cunat Court, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road, on a charge of retail theft. She was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Jan. 25, in Algonquin.

• Gil Garcia, 43, of the 1900 block of Flower Street, McHenry, was arrested at Route 176 and Route 31 on charges of following too closely, no driver’s license and failure to give aid. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of Feb. 2, in McHenry County.

• Anastasia R. Kotlarz, 24, of the 700 block of Butterfield Drive, was charged with retail theft. She was arrested at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road. She was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Jan. 25, in Algonquin.

• Adam T. Koch, 18, of the 4700 block of Burman Drive, Crystal Lake, was arrested at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road, on a charge of retail theft. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Jan. 25, in Algonquin.

Dec. 29, 2011

• Richard A. Pack, 36, of the 500 block of Miller, Elgin, was arrested at 8813 S. Route 31 on charges of DUI, driving while license suspended and following too closely. He was transported to McHenry County Jail when unable to post bond.

• Timothy C. Lucey, 45, of the 1100 block of Sawmill Lane, Algonquin, was arrested at Panera Bread, 451 S. Randall Road, on charges of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, illegal transportation of alcohol and interfering with the reporting of a domestic battery. He was transported to McHenry County Jail, to await bond hearing.

• Julie M. Reddington, 41, of the 400 block of Rose, Island Lake, was arrested at Meijer, 400 S. Randall Road, on charges of possession of counterfeit universal price code labels and retail theft. She was transported to McHenry County Jail, to await a bond hearing.

Dec. 30, 2011

• John H. Brooks, 55, of the 1300 block of Cunat Court, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at Main Street and Algonquin Road on charges of DUI, DUI exceeding .08, speeding, driving while license suspended and no proof of insurance. He was transported to McHenry County Jail when unable to post bond.
