Algonquin Police Blotter: Dec. 2-4

The following arrest information was supplied by the Algonquin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Dec. 2, 2011

  • A 14-year-old Carpentersville boy was arrested at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Drive, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He formally was petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his mother.
  • Ricardo N. Francisco-Salazar, 18, of the 1-99 block of Wren Road, Carpentersville, was arrested at Main and Washington streets on charges of no valid driver’s license and improper lane use. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of Jan. 17, 2012, in McHenry County.
  • Zachary S. Jerzyk, 19, of the 1000 block of Burr Street, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road, on a charge of retail theft. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Jan. 25, 2012, in Algonquin.

Dec. 3, 2011

  • Ronald L. McClendon, 45, of the 11500 block of Edgemere Terrace, Roscoe, was arrested at Kohl’s, 734 S. Randall Road, on a charge of retail theft. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Jan. 25, 2012, in Algonquin.

  • Leobardo Ochoa, 21, of the 400 block of Edison, Elgin, was arrested at Main and Washington streets on charges of no valid driver’s license, no proof of insurance and no headlights. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of Dec. 21, in McHenry County.
