Algonquin Police Blotter: Dec. 16-18

Dec. 16, 2011

• Joseph P. Zeppo, 32, of the 300 block of Cornell Lane, Algonquin, was charged with DUI, no proof of insurance, leaving the scene of an accident and improper turn. He was arrested at his home and was released after posting $100 and his driver’s license, with a court date of Jan. 25, 2012 in McHenry County.

• Kevin R. Zent, 23, of the 500 block of Seminole Trail, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at Target, 750 S. Randall Road, on three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He also was wanted on a McHenry County warrant for failure to appear. He was transported to McHenry County Jail, when unable to post bond.

• Jeffrey S. Eaton, 18, of the 1400 block of Brandywine Circle, Algonquin, was arrested at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Road, on a charge of retail theft. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of Jan. 25, 2012, in Algonquin.

Dec. 17, 2012

• Thomas J. Pilipuf, 30, of the 100 block of Northlight Pass, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at Main Street and Algonquin Road on charges of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to give information and failure to reduce speed. He was released after posting $100 and his driver’s license, with a court date of Jan. 25, 2012, in McHenry County.

Dec. 18, 2011

• Kevin C. Bailey, 32, of the 1-99 block of Elm Avenue, Carpentersville, was arrested at Randall Road and Acorn Lane on charges of DUI, speeding, no proof of insurance and improper lane use. He was released after posting $100 and his driver’s license, with a court date of Feb. 1, 2012, in McHenry County.
• Ryan M. Taylor, 26, of the 1700 block of Hartley Drive, Algonquin, was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department on a McHenry County warrant for battery. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of Jan. 14, 2012, in McHenry County.
