Algonquin Police Blotter: Battery; Driving Without a License

May 31, 2011

  • Denise Wojciechowski, 44, of the 1100 block of St. Andrews, Algonquin, was charged with driving while license suspended and speeding. She was apprehended in the 700 block of North River Road. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of July 6, in McHenry County.

June 2, 2011

  • A 17-year-old female from Harwood Heights was charged with theft under $300. She was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department. She formally was petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of her mother.
  • Debra J. Cussen, 55, of the 1600 block of Hartley Drive, Algonquin, was charged with domestic battery. She was arrested and transported to the McHenry County Jail to await bond hearing.

  • Fredrick C. Demann, 47, of the 300 block of South Avenue, Hampshire, was wanted on a warrant out of DeKalb County for failure to appear on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. He was arrested at Huntley and Randall road.  He was released after posting $500, with a court date of June 21, in DeKalb County.

June 4, 2001

  • Michael A. Muscia, 48, of the 800 block of Southwick Drive, Algonquin, and Timothy D. Pittas, 25, of the 4100 block of Larkspur Lane, Lake in the Hills, were each charged with criminal damage to property and theft under $500.  Both were arrested at 1024 E. Algonquin Road.  Also taken into custody during the same incident was Richard M. Wedekind, 26, of the 6300 block of Hillcrest Road, Cary, who was charged with criminal damage to property. All were released after posting $150, with a court date of July 6, in McHenry County.
  • Silvana Dionicio, 37, of the 2000 block of Cherokee Road, Carpentersville, was charged with no valid driver’s license, no proof of insurance and disobeying a traffic-control device. She was apprehended at Becky Lynn Lane and Randall Road. She was released on a personal recognizance bond, with a court date of July 13, in McHenry County.

  • Alexander D. Zuniga, 21, of the 4500 block of South Home Avenue, Forrest View, was charged with driving while license suspended and speeding at Route 62 and Harrison Street. He was released on a personal-recognizance bond, with a court date of July 6, in McHenry County.

June 6, 2011

  • Isaac J. Rivera, 18, of the 1-99 block of Oxford Court, Carpentersville, was charged with leaving the scene of a property-damage accident, failure to give aid or information and failure to give notice of an accident. He was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department. He was released on a personal recognizance bond, with a court date of July 6, in McHenry County.
