Algonquin Police Blotter: Aug. 20-26.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Algonquin Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Aug. 20, 2011

  • Jose V. Hernandez, 67, of the 2200 block of Parkway, Waukegan, was arrested at Route 31 and Front Street on charges of driving under the influence, no driver’s license, improper lane use and improper turn at intersection. He was released after posting $300, with a court date of Sept. 28, in McHenry County.

Aug. 21, 2011

  • Fabian J. Torres, 24, of the 900 block of Saratoga Parkway, Sleepy Hollow, was arrested at 100 S. Randall Road on a charge of aggravated arson. He was transported to McHenry County Jail for bond court.
  • Evan B. Rootes, 18, of the 1800 block of Broadsmore Drive, was arrested at 100 S. Randall Road on charges of possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of Sept. 15, in Kane County.

  • Erik A. Larson, 41, of the 900 block of Canterbury, Crystal Lake, was arrested at 261 Grandview Court on charges of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of Sept. 28 in McHenry County.
  • Jason P. Dalesandro, 35, of the 1200 block of Winaki, Algonquin, was arrested at the on a DuPage County warrant for deceptive practice. He was released after posting $4,000 with a court date of Sept. 29, in Wheaton.

Aug. 26, 2011

  • A 15-year-old Algonquin boy was arrested in the 2800 block of Talaga Drive on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He formally was petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his mother.
