Algonquin Police Blotter: Aggravated Battery; Driving Without a License

The police department's reports for June 17-19.

June 17, 2011

  • Kevin A. Houghton, 34, of the 1300 block of Washington Street, Lake in the Hills, was charged with sale of alcohol to a minor. He was arrested at the Algonquin Police Department. He was released on a notice to appear, with a court date of July 27, in Algonquin.
  • Brian K. Jagielski, 30, of the 1500 block of North Harrison Street, Algonquin, was arrested at Main Street and West Algonquin Road on a McHenry County warrant for domestic battery. He was transported to McHenry County Jail when unable to post bond.
  • Carlos Escobedo, 33, of the 4000 block of Berkshire Court, Carpentersville, was arrested at Main and Edward streets on charges of no valid driver’s license, no proof of insurance and disregarding a traffic control device. He was released on a personal recognizance bond, with a court date of July 20, in McHenry County.
  • James S. Bakewell, 45, of the 4300 block of Friar Tuck, Buford, was arrested in the 400 block of South Randall Road on a charge of aggravated battery. He was transported to McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.

June 18, 2011

  • Rhonda L. Cady, 46, of the 700 block of North Hawk Street, Palatine, was charged with no valid driver’s license, disobeying stop sign and no proof of insurance. She was released after posting $150, with a court date of July 27, in McHenry County.

  • Marco A. Lopez, 38, of the 600 block of LaSalle Street, Aurora, was arrested at Route 62 and 31 on a charge of no valid driver’s license. He was released after posting $150, with a court date of July 19, in McHenry County.
