Algonquin Police Arrest 2 Women, 1 Man for Battery; Man Charged with Reckless Driving

Algonquin Police release arrest reports through Sept. 12, 2013.

DUI

Janine L. Oracko, 48, of the 3200 block of Ronan Dr., Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 5:08 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Oracko posted her drivers license for bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 16.

Criminal Damage to Property

A 16-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was arrested at 12:55 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, and charged with criminal damage to property and violation of curfew. He was taken into custody at 1409 Commerce Drive. He was petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his father.

Battery

Krystal E. Deacon, 20, of the 700 block of Ridge St., Algonquin, was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, and charged with battery, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was taken into custody at Huntington Drive and Stonegate Road.

Anthony T. Spoden, 21, of the 600 block of Anderson Drive, Lake in the Hills, was arrested and charged with battery.

Stephanie A. Loose, 19, of the 200 block of Indian Trail, Lake in the Hills, was also arrested and charged wtih battery.

Spoden and Loose each posted $150 and were released. They are scheduled to appear in Kane County Court on Oct. 24.


Reckless Driving

George Othon, 23, of Crane Road, St. Charles, was arrested at 3:27 a.m. Sept. 12, and charged with reckless driving, failure to give information after being involved in a crash, driving off the roadway and no proof of insurance. He was taken into custody at 101 Valley View Court. He posted $150 bond and his drivers license and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 16 in McHenry County.

Wanted on Warrant

Nikolas A. Kauffman, 18, of the 1100 block of Barber Court, West Dundee, was arrested at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, on a warrant out of McHenry County for theft. He was taken into custody at 315 N. Main St., Algonquin. He posted $150 for bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 25.

Mark D. Arensmeier, 23, of the 1500 block of Sherman Ave., Geneva, was arrested at 3:23 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, on a warrant out of Winnebago County for failure to appear in court on a driving while license suspended charge. He was taken into custody at the 100 block of Valley View Court. He posted $750 for bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 1 in Winnebago County.
