Algonquin Police Arrest Teen for Battery at Jacobs HS; Others Arrested for Underage Drinking, Retail Theft

Algonquin Police release arrest reports through Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013.

Battery

A 15-year-old Lake in the Hills girl was arrested at 2:01 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Dr., and charged with battery. She was referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and released into the custody of her parents.


Retail Theft

A 15-year-old Lake in the Hills girl and 16-year-old Algonquin boy were arrested at 4:51 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, and charged with retail theft. They were taken into custody at Meijer, 400 S. Randall Rd. Both were referred to the Tri County Peer Jury and released into the custody of their parents.

A 14-year-old Lake in the Hills girl and 14-year-old Huntley girl were arrested at 6:04 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, and charged with retail theft. They were taken into custody at Kohl’s, 734 S. Randall Rd. They were each referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and released into the custody of their parents.

Underage Drinking

A 17-year-old Algonquin male was arrested at 6:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, and charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was taken into custody at the Algonquin Police Department. He was released on a notice to appear in court on Nov. 27.


Unlawful Use of a Credit Card

A 14-year-old Algonquin girl was arrested at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, and charged with unlawful use of a credit card. She was taken into custody in the 700 block of Braewood Drive. She was petitioned into Juvenile Court and released into the custody of her mother.

No Valid Drivers License

Jose A. Hernandez-Zamora, 26, of the 400 block of Amarillo Circle, Carpentersville, was arrested at 8:07 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, and charged with not having a valid drivers license and speeding. He was arrested at Sandbloom Road and Washtenaw Lane. He was released on a personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 27.

Driving While License Suspended

Cesar Treto, 29, of the 1600 block of Marlboro Circle, Carpentersville, was arrested at 7:13 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, and charged with driving while license suspended, suspended registration and no proof of insurance. He was taken into custody at Routes 62 and 25. He was released on a personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 20.

William D. Ackermann, 37, of the 1000 block of Brittany Bend, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 1:32 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, and charged with driving while license suspended and no valid registration. He was taken into custody at Harnish Drive and Randall Road. He posted $150 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 27.
