Algonquin Police Arrest 2 for Retail Theft, Teen Arrested for Underage Drinking

Retail Theft

Donna J. Boeckh, 58, of the 300 block of Panama, Hampshire, was arrested at 5:38 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, and charged with two counts of retail theft. She was taken into custody at Kohl’s, 734 S. Randall Rd. She posted $150 bond and was released with a court date of Jan. 15.

Allison V. Worley, 42, of the 6600 block of Majestic Way, Carpentersville, was arrested at 6:19 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, and charged with retail theft. She was taken into custody at Meijer, 400 S. Randall Rd. She was released with a notice to appear in court Jan. 29.


Underage Drinking

Richard Galati, 19, of the 700 block of Woodscreek Ln., Algonquin, was arrested at 9:38 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, and charged with zero tolerance, no proof of insurance, failure to reduce speed and unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was taken into custody at Stonegate Road and Woodscreek Lane. He was released on a notice to appear in court Jan. 21.


Wanted on Warrant

Robert Varela, Jr., 21, of the 200 block of Highland Ave., Algonquin, was arrested at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, on a warrant out of McHenry County for aggravated fleeing/ eluding. He was also wanted on another warrant out of McHenry County for failure to appear in court to face a battery charge. He was taken into custody at the Algonquin Police Department, 2200 Harnish Dr. He posted $2,500 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 18.

William D. Ackermann, 37, of the 1000 block of Brittany Bend, Lake in the Hills, was arrested at 9:24 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, on a warrant out of McHenry County for driving while license suspended. He was taken into custody at Thirsty Whale, 1700 S. Randall Rd., and transported to the McHenry County Jail when unable to post bond.
