Algonquin Man Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash
The 55-year-old man was on his way home after visiting his wife in the hospital.
The Northwest Herald reports that a 55-year-old Algonquin man has died of his injuries after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash at Haeger’s Bend and Lake Cook roads in Barrington Hills on Wednesday night.
The Chicago Tribune reports that Joseph Kwak, of the 2000 block of Carlisle Street, Algonquin, had been visiting his wife at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington. He was on his way home to get her toothbrush and pillow when he ran a red light and was struck by a sport utility vehicle shortly after 8 p.m.
