Algonquin Man Accused of Sexual Assaulting Young Girl Enters Not Guilty Plea

Thomas G. Reed is accused of sexually assaulting a young girl over 10 years ago, according to the Northwest Herald.

A 52-year-old Algonquin man entered a not guilty plea Wednesday to two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, according to the Northwest Herald.

Thomas G. Reed is accused of sexually assaulting a girl, who is now 22 years old, when she was between the ages of 8 and 12 years old, according to the Northwest Herald. Reed had an on-again, off-again relationship with the girl's mother at the time of the assault, according to the article.
