ALGONQUIN POLICE BLOTTER

Retail Theft

Police arrested Levon M. Robinson, 23, at 2:35 p.m. on July 29 at the intersection of Route 31 and I-90 for retail theft. Robinson, of 320 Percy St. in Elgin, was taken to McHenry County Jail when he was unable to post bond. 

Possession of a Controlled Substance

Algonquin police arrested a 16-year-old Algonquin boy at 3 a.m. on July 30 in the 1500 block of Richmond Lane in Algonquin for possession of a controlled substance. He was formally petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of his mother. 

LAKE IN THE HILLS BLOTTER

Driving While License Suspended

Police arrested Michael J. Wright, 34, at 7:56 a.m. on July 30 at Dominick's, 101 N. Randall Road, for driving while license suspended. Wright, of 1915 Raismore Road, was later released on bond. 

Wanted on Warrant

Police arrested Sean T. O Hara, 29, at 9:20 a.m. on July 30 on a warrant out of McHenry County for possession of marijuana and no valid insurance. O Hara, of 995 Plum Tree Drive in Crystal Lake, was later released on bond. 

DUI

Police arrested Sean T. O Hara, 30, at 9:20 a.m. on July 29 on a warrant out of McHenry County for possession of marijuana and no valid insurance. O Hara, of 995 Plum Tree Drive in Crystal Lake, was later released on bond. 

DUI

Police arrested Jonathon B. Sommer, 37, at 3:51 a.m. on July 29 at Dominick's, 101 N. Randall Road, for driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a traffic control device, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage. Sommer, of 4645 Mackinac St. in Lake in the Hills, was later released on bond. 

Domestic Battery

Police arrested Jennifer J. Muscat, 38, at 4:09 p.m. on July 29 in the first block of Sugar Creek Court in Lake in the Hills on two counts of domestic battery and one count of unlawful interference with reporting a domestic. Muscat, of 11 Sugar Creek Court in LITH, was transported to McHenry County Jail. 

Hit and Run

Police received a report of a hit and run at 12:53 p.m. on July 27 at Bucky's, 101 Pyott Road. A parked vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle.
