Algonquin, LITH Blotter: Bikes, Pogo Stick, Scooters Stolen from Front Yard; DUI Arrests

June 17: Signs belonging to the community development department were found in Carpentersville and turned over to the Lake in the Hills Police Department.

June 17: Police responded to a hit and run accident at McPhee Drive and Pyott Road that occurred at 9:36 p.m. The complainant's vehicle was struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene. 

June 16: Lake in the Hills Police arrested a 19-year-old Huntley man in the 600 block of Bluestem Lane at 2:15 a.m. Tyler S. Ellefson, of 11345 Middletown Lane in Huntley, is charged with resisting a peace office. He was released on bond. 

June 16: Police received a report of damage to playground equipment at Natures View Park, 3866 Sonoma. The report was turned over to investigations. 

June 16: Police received a report of damage to a door of a home in the 700 block of Mohican Trail. The report was turned over to investigations. 

June 15: Three children's bicycles, three razor scooters, one pogo stick and one aluminum bat was taken from the front yard of a home in the 5500 block of Alexandria Drive. Police received the theft report at 3:45 p.m. 

Algonquin Blotter

June 14: Algonquin police arrested Jonovan Brown, 24, of Broadview, at Route 31 and Railroad Street at 4:14 a.m. on June 14. He was charged with DUI, DUI Over, Driving on Wrong Side of Roadway and no seat belt. He was released after posting $100 and his Illinois driver's license and is next expected in court on July 23 in McHenry County. 

June 15: Police arrested Deborah A. Reimer, 35, of Johnston City, at 1:10 a.m. at Main Street and Algonquin Road. She was charged with DUI, DUI Over and disregarding traffic control light. She was released after posting $100 and her Illinois Driver’s License. She is next expected in court on July 30 in McHenry County.
