Algonquin Jewelry Store Armed Robbery Investigation Continues

According to police reports Brandon L. McBryde, 21, of 12181 Sinnett St. in Huntley, was arrested on a warrant in connection with the armed robbery that occurred at the 7-11, at 4500 W. Algonquin Road, around 12:54 a.m. Wednesday.

McBryde allegedly entered the LITH gas station wearing a black ski mask, black hooded jacket, black gloves while displaying a handgun. After he reportedly demanded money from the clerk, he took the cash and fled the store to the west.

A similar event occurred in East Dundee the next day involving a man matching the description from the LITH gas station robbery.

In Carpentersville, two men were charged with armed robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon after a robbery was reported at MBC Wireless, 91 S. Kennedy Drive, Carpentersville.
