Vehicle Burglaries Reported in Lake in the Hills on Monday

Remember to lock up and remove valuables from your vehicle.

Several burglaries to motor vehicles reported

A reminder to residents to lock up and remove valuables from vehicles as police received a handful of motor vehicle burglary reports Monday.

In one of the incidents, the perpetrator(s) smashed out a car window and took a pack of cigarettes. Other valuables stolen in the vehicle burglaries include jewelry, a wallet, electronics and a cell phone.

Here is a list of the reported burglaries from Monday in Lake in the Hills: 

  • Reported at 2:12 a.m. in the 100 block of Harvest Gate. Items taken include a watch, wallet, cash and a cell phone.
  • Reported at 2:57 a.m. in the 100 block of Capella Court. Items taken include an iPod and CDs.
  • Reported at 3:45 a.m. in the 100 block of Harvest Gate. Items taken include an iPod and jewelry.
  • Reported at 4:19 a.m. in the 300 block of Ramble Road. A window was smashed and cigarettes were taken.
  • Reported at 8:37 a.m. in the 200 block of Cool Stone Bend. A backpack was stolen.
  • Reported at 12:03 p.m. in the 200 block of Indian Trail. Items stolen include change and a flashlight.
