A Geneva woman was one of the victims of a 34-year-old man whose reckless, high-speed carjacking spree included a crash that killed an 11-year-old boy on Chicago's South Side.

The Geneva woman was in a Honda Accord, the third vehicle carjacked by Rockie Douglas, who was captured Tuesday at a drive-through window of a Milwaukee McDonald's.

Douglas is accused of carjacking three vehicles over the weekend.

The first carjacking took place at around 11:20 a.m. Friday on Chicago's North Side, when Douglas forced a woman out of a green Dodge minivan at a gas station along West Irving Park Road, the Chicago Tribune reports.

On Saturday, Douglas allegedly crashed the van into a Chevy Suburban carrying 11-year-old Donovan Turnage and his family. Donovan was killed in the crash and his father seriously injured.

Douglas then left on foot, carjacked a Toyota SUV at a gas station and crashed the SUV into a police squad car before continuing onto Garfield Boulevard in the opposite lanes of traffic, the Tribune reported.

The SUV broke down on a ramp from I-294 to the Reagan Tollway, media reports said. At that point, the driver of a blue Honda Accord tried to help Douglas, who then forced his way into the car and sped off west on the Reagan Tollway.

Reports do not say whether the Geneva woman was the driver or a passenger of the Accord, but a woman was in the car with Douglas when he was captured by police Tuesday at the McDonald's drive-through in Milwaukee, according to a Sun-Times Media report.

The Geneva woman, who the Tribune did not identify at her request, said she has had “sleepless nights” since Saturday.
