Stephanie L. Siers, age 19, of Carpentersville, passed away on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst from head injuries she received from a fall.

Stephanie was born in Elgin on Oct. 21, 1994, and was a resident of the area for a majority of her life.

She was a 2013 graduate of Dundee Crown High School.

While at Dundee Crown, Stephanie was involved in the AVID program. Currently, Stephanie was attending Elgin Community College and was working for Tovar Snow Professionals.

Stephanie was all about giving back and paying it forward. She volunteered at The Carpentersville VFW, the Boys & Girls Club of Dundee Township and also at Dundee Crown High School with the AVID program.

The Siers family is proud that Stephanie was an organ donor and at her death had donated organs and tissue through the Gift of Hope.

Stephanie attended the First Congregational Church in Carpentersville.

Survivors include her mother, Jody, her father, Robert and her brother, Jonathan.

Other survivors include her maternal grandparents, Julia Hoffman and Alvin Wilson; her paternal grandmother, Carolyn Siers; her maternal great grandfather, Richard Selpien; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: Jim Siers and her maternal great grandmother: Irene Selpien.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home, 504 W. Main St., West Dundee, from 1 to 6 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home in West Dundee.

Burial will follow in the Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee.

Please omit flowers. Memorials may be made to either the Boys & Girls Club of Dundee Township or the AVID Program at Dundee Crown High School.
