Karen L. Sortino, 66, of Algonquin
Visitation and service will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, with a service at 7 p.m. at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home in Huntley.
Karen L. Sortino, 66, of Algonquin died peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Sherman Hospital.
Karen was born Jan. 6, 1947, the daughter of Harold and Emily Lichter.

She married John Sortino, and he preceded her in death. Karen enjoyed watching TV, bowling, going to the casino and especially loved spending time with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her three daughters, Tina (Damon) Kramer, Kim (Tim Hall) Sortino, and Jaime Sortino. She is survived by her granddaughter Emily Kramer and by her sister, Lois Dalton and brother, Richard Lichter.

A visitation and service will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday with a service at 7 p.m. at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Rd., Huntley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Karen L. Sortino Memorial Fund.
