ATTENTION ALL PASSIONATE and CARING ALGONQUINS!!

My name is Mike Jostes. I am the American Cancer Society Staff Partner working on 'Making Strides Against Breast Cancer-Algonquin.' An event we will be holding at Ted Spella Park on August 4th.

I am blogging to recruit passionate committee members to help me get this event up and running.

What a committee member does?!

Find out what's happening in Algonquin-Lake In The Hillswith free, real-time updates from Patch.

-1 or 2 monthly meetings up until event date

-Lasts about an hour or two

Find out what's happening in Algonquin-Lake In The Hillswith free, real-time updates from Patch.

-Help with team recruitment, participant recruitment, day of event set up, logistics and so on. Examples are: making phone calls to past participants, emailing sponsors, writing a newsletter or blog!

-Outside of the monthly meeting, committee members can put in as little time or as much time as they have available to work on this event.
