The Brookfield Zoo is hosting their "Party for the Planet" on Earth Day, Sunday April 22nd. This year our school is sponsoring the Hamill Family Play Zoo- a revolutionary new concept in zoo experiences for families. The Play Zoo is an effort to bring children back to a simpler world and help parents and other caregivers rediscover the magic and importance of playing in nature. Come plant with us, pet animals, build habitats, paint murals, examine animal X-rays, discover insects, and more. Our goal is to foster feelings of love and caring toward nature by doing! Both Goddard and the Brookfield Zoo want kids to feel connected with nature and have fun doing it!
"Party for the Planet" at Brookfield Zoo is a perfect event for families with young children. We hope to see families from our school as well as the entire community there!
