McHenry County College Summer Culinary Classes Begin Soon

Summer tarts, pies and vegetarian cooking are upcoming highlights of non-credit culinary classes offered by McHenry County College’s Continuing Education Department. These classes are all held at the Lakeside Legacy Arts Park, 401 Country Club Road in Crystal Lake.

The following classes are available:

Summer Tarts: Learn to make delicious seasonally-inspired tarts in this hands-on baking workshop. Participants will learn the essential techniques for creating perfect tarts at home. This course takes place from 6:30-9 p.m. on Monday, July 29. Register using course ID: NCU S53 007.

Vegetarian Cooking: Vegetarian cooking is not just for vegetarians.  It’s for anyone interested in learning in how to cook creatively with vegetables. Participants will get information and instruction on how to prepare a fantastic vegetarian meal. Class takes place from 6:30-9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31. Register using course ID: NCU S96 007. 

Summer Pies: Learn to make delicious seasonally-inspired pies in this hands-on baking workshop. Participants will learn the essential techniques for creating perfect pies at home. Class takes place from 6:30-9 p.m. on Thursday, August 1. Register using course ID: NCU S93 008.
