Ribbon Cutting Held at New Food Pantry Location

The new Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry opened in April at 1113 Pyott Road in Lake in the Hills.

The Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Interfaith Food Pantry held a ribbon cutting on July 13 at 9 a.m. at its new location at 1113 Pyott Road. 

The food pantry moved from its old location on Oak Street to the Pyott Road location on April 17. The new location is in a renovated pole barn on the village's Larsen property. 

In June, 813 people visited the food pantry, including 352 children.
