Voices in Harmony's Sing-Along Messiah Returns to Raue Center

Holiday concert is planned for this Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Raue Center for the Arts.

Voices in Harmony and the McHenry County College Choir will present the Sing-Along Messiah this Sunday at the Raue Center for the Arts in downtown Crystal Lake.

The choir will perform at 4 p.m. Dec. 15, at the Raue Center, 26 N. Williams St., Crystal Lake, under the direction of Steven Szalaj. Dr. Paige Lush will lead the audience.

The Messiah will be presented along with a 25 piece orchestra and projections of Timothy Botts' calligraphy on the texts being sung. The concert will feature soloists Kirsten Leslie (soprano), A.J. Wester (mezzo soprano), Peder Reiff (tenor), and Rick Ziebarth (bass baritone).

Messiah scores will be available for purchase for $10.

Concert ticket prices range $15 to $18, and are available through the Raue Box Office. Voices in Harmony’s featured charity for the Messiah concert is the Crystal Lake Food Pantry. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring food.

Tickets can be purchased online at rauecenter.org, or via the Box Office at 815-356-9212.
