The Christmas holiday season is officially underway and the village of Lake in the Hills is looking for contestants in its annual house decorating contest.
You can nominate your own Christmas decorations or elect your neighbor's home and judges from the village of Lake in the Hills will make their rounds on Dec. 19 to vote for their favorites, according to a village of LITH Press release.
Winners will be selected in two different categories: Best Overall Display and The Clark Griswold Award, according to the news release. All registrants will have their address posted on the LITH.org website.
You can register for the contest by calling 847-960-7460. Only the first 20 Lake in the Hills homes to register are eligible for judging.
