Hail Damage 4-12-2014 - Liberty Roofing & Siding Inc.

Wow, that was an incredible storm yesterday. It was classified as a level 4 event (level 5 being the worst). Some of you may have already gone through the process of filing an insurance claim on your home so this will not be your first time others have not. Along with hail storms comes the storm of contractors. You will be receiving several people on a daily basis knocking on your door and leaving flyers, phone calls at dinner time and so on. So how to handle this when you don't know what to do. First is do your homework and don't just work with the first guy at your door. Find a contractor that has been in business for at least five years since 85% of contractors close their doors inside of the first five years of business. Second ask for references and follow up on them. Don't just get a couple of names and not call. Any quality contractor will have happy customers that will be glad to share in their experience. Third check out all licenses and insurance, call your village and see if they have done work locally in the past. Forth check the BBB to see if they have any complaints. No one is perfect, and if they have had one or two complaints over three years then if everything else checks out you should be ok. Fifth Google Search the company and the sales representative name if they have been around for a while you will be able to find out. Best of Luck to you all with processing your claims. Please feel free to ask questions I would be glad to answer them. Richard Jeziorski - Liberty Roofing & Siding Inc.
